Embedded Hardware Engineering

We provide embedded hardware engineering.  We recommend a SOM (System on Module) for most of the high-end projects involving a GUI and embedded processing.  We have done a lot of work using SOMs.  We have a lot of experience in ARM implementations (NXP, ST, etc).

• Architecture for a platform design (reusablility)

• Hardware engineering

  • Board design​

  • Schematic design and capture

  • Layout

  • Interface with PCB manufacture (get bids and outsource the board)

  • 1st article approval

  • Interface with CM to get PCA manufactured

  • Board Bringup

  • Interface between the hardware and software groups

We provide schematic capture in OrCAD (typically), layout in your preference of tool.  We have designed boards using embedded MCU, DSP, FPGA, CPLD, ADC, DAC, GPIO, Busses: SPI, I2C, UART, Comm systems: IEEE-488, RS-485, RS-422, Ethernet, Optical.
